Millar & Jackson are a long established Ornamental Plastering firm with workshops in Devon and Cornwall and our expert craftsmen can call on over 120 years combined experience in the trade.

Millar & Jackson list of completed projects on listed buildings and mansions, gave me the confidence in asking them to quote for my project to restore Rosewarne.


Regrettably, due to extensive dry rot, over 90% of the original and  plasterwork, had to be removed together with supporting joists and stud walls. The reinstatement work included Cornices, Ceiling Bands, Arches, Corbels, Ceiling Centres, Corinthian Column Capitals and a Domed Enriched Ceiling to the Music Room.  


Fortunately, all of the mouldings existed (albeit riddled with dry rot) Millar & Jackson were able to replicate exactly, all of the sections.  They provided me with sample of the originals and matched sections to approve before they manufactured them.


I would have no hesitation in highly recommending this firm and acknowledge that their tremendous work was a significant factor in the awards I received for the restoration, which included a World Heritage Award.
